Mark Ren
Mark Ren is the Founder and CEO of Agentrys, building agentic design automation beyond traditional EDA. Before founding Agentrys, he served as Director of Design Automation Research at NVIDIA, where he led efforts to apply AI and GPU-accelerated computing to improve chip design quality and productivity. He brings more than 25 years of industrial EDA R&D experience from IBM and NVIDIA.
Mark is an inventor on 30+ patents and has co-authored 100+ papers and books, including a book on machine learning for EDA and multiple EDA book chapters. His work has been recognized with the IBM Corporate Award and best paper awards at DAC, ASPDAC, ISPD, IEEE TCAD, MLCAD, and LAD. He has served on the organizing and steering committees of leading conferences including ICCAD and ISPD, and was Conference Chair of ICLAD.
Mark earned his B.S. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, his M.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is an IEEE Fellow.
